Erin Ackerman and her family joined TNT in 2014 for the music, Shoresh preschool, and the great joy this community has for being Jewish. Erin became a member of the TNT Board Of Trustees in 2019 and served as TNT’s Vice President of Education from November 2019 to May 2024. Erin has participated in Jewish Family Journeys, the Religious School Parent Committee, temple choir, and Purim Spiel.  She lives in Glen Ridge with her husband, Brian Arbour, and their son. Erin is a librarian at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) and previously was a political science professor at John Jay College, CUNY.

Fun facts: Erin is an excellent baker and a mediocre mahjong player.
