Lauri Hornik joined the TNT Board of Trustees in 2024. She has been a member of TNT since 2004, has participated in the Shoprite and High Holidays food drives and the Tikkun Middot project, sings in the choir, and is a regular at Friday night services and chanting circle. Lauri and her husband, Peter Kaplan, have four adult children. Professionally, Lauri is the President and Publisher of Rocky Pond Books, a children’s and young adult imprint of Penguin Young Readers.

Fun fact: Lauri has attended the Newport Folk Festival almost every year since 1990.
