Wendy Starr joined TNT in the summer of 2023 as the Assistant Director for Youth and Family Education! Wendy is originally from Oradell, New Jersey. She attended Michigan State University where she completed a five-year program earning her teaching license for Special Education, Elementary Education, and Mathematics. After student teaching, Wendy moved to Blacksburg Virginia to work as Springboard Innovation Fellow at Hillel at Virginia Tech. At Virginia Tech she has worked with fantastic college students on social and community-building programs!

Some of her favorite activities are binge-watching Reality TV, making cookies, and trying out the newest brunch or sushi spot. A fun fact about Wendy is that her favorite foods are pickles and hummus!
